Interpreting goes far beyond language. It requires emotional strength, mental agility, and ethical clarity. But what happens when stress and fatigue begin to wear you down? This training is designed to help interpreters recognize the signs of emotional and brain overload, understand the risks it poses, and learn simple, effective ways to stay sharp, centered, and resilient in any setting.
This workshop will take place live via Zoom on August 12 and August 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. ET.
After purchase, course information and access will be available on your “My eLearning” page.
Training – Brain Power and Emotional Fitness
Interpreters often face intense and emotionally charged situations, balancing accuracy, ethics, and empathy in real-time. This workshop takes a focused look at how emotional and cognitive fatigue can affect decision-making and professional standards. Participants will explore the ethical risks that can arise when interpreters are mentally drained, and learn practical strategies to maintain emotional well-being and mental clarity.
Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, this training will help you stay centered, effective, and energized.
